So the mince pies are made, the presents are all wrapped and under the tree, the fire is lit and there’s mulled cider on the hob. All that’s left for me to do, before I settle down to Carols From King’s, is to wish you all a fabulous Christmas.

Merry Christmas wellywoman!!!
Hi Anna, Thank you for your Christmas wishes. I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas break. I thought about you a couple of weeks ago and was wondering how you were getting on. Glad to hear you still pop by. Wishing you a fabulous 2015. WW x
Merry Christmas WW! Sounds like you have a lovely Christmas lined up. You’ll think I am strange but I would love to have a cold/white Christmas one day. All the best for 2015. Danielle x
Hi Danielle, Thank you for your Christmas wishes. We did have a lovely time. I don’t think it’s strange. In fact I was chatting with someone recently about what it would be like to have Christmas in the southern hemisphere and we both thought it would be quite strange. So many of the images we have of Christmas are based around snowy, frosty scenes. To be honest though most Christmases here aren’t snowy or sometimes even that cold. Apparently we’re more likely to get snow at Easter than Christmas, which I thought was a fascinating fact. This year was frosty with a very cold wind but we’ve had plenty of wet, mildish Christmases too, especially here in Wales. Hopefully one day you’ll get to spend Christmas somewhere wintery. Wishing you a fabulous 2015. Lou x
Merry Christmas to you too! Have a lovely day and enjoy some well earned time off over the festive period!
And a happy Christmas to you too!

Merry Christmas to you and Wellyman – looking forward to reading your blog in the new year – and seeing what your new book is :-))
Hi Helle, Thank you! I hope you had a lovely Christmas break. I’m glad to hear you’ll be popping back to read my blog. š And the book…. I’m quite excited about that. It’s not out until September so I need to restrain the excitement for now. š Wishing you a fantastic 2015. x
Sounds wonderful, Louise! Merry Christmas!
Beautiful wreath, Louise. Love the use of Lunaria in there, must try and grow some this year. Hope you had a good day; I saw Wellyman’s photo of the view at the end of your walk – awesome! Happy Christmas and New Year! Caro x
Hi Caro, Thank you. It was really easy to make too. Christmas was lovely and just what we needed. Wishing you a fabulous 2015. Lou x
Hope you had a fabulous Christmas and joyous New year. You needed the break! Hope 2015 is a really good vintage for you and yours. Most of all, I hope the vexed issue of whether you are moving and if so, to where, is sorted! Exciting times…
Hi Janet, Thank you! We had a lovely break and it was just what we needed. Unfortunately it’s taking me a bit to get going again. š Hopefully we’re getting closer to knowing what we’re doing. We have a bit of a plan at least so fingers crossed.
